allotment

Was a nice but cold day, so while our daughter fell asleep in the pram after a playground session, we hit up the /allotment. 

Preparing for the spring bonfire/incineration in a few weeks by cutting up some larger branches, weeding, and turning some soil on our plot.

Tulips are coming up, which is always a promising sign of spring around the corner!

So much to do, and so little time--as always.

This place really needs a little cleaning up. But spring week sounds great.

Our /allotment plot definitely needs cleaning up! Every winter it can get pretty messed up, as it's quite an open area and wind gusts, rains, and other winter weather tend to make a mess of things.

But it's all good--that's nature at its finest, and I'm glad to have a plot to grow things despite of that! Hard work pays off when we harvest things throughout the year. 🙏
