@TheJackForge there’s exactly 3 components to being a high paid coder:

1) be willing to drill into a problem all the way to its root. debuggers, reading the source, the works

2) prioritize creating business value. 

3) don’t be weird

I totally agree! Sometimes, too much abstraction can create more headaches than it solves. 

Understanding the fundamentals and the underlying stacks allows you to fix issues when they arise, rather than just relying on "magic." 

Have you had any experiences where a framework's quirks really caught you off guard?
