2/ The truth is, this kind of farming and value extraction doesn’t contribute to the ecosystem—it dilutes it. When people prioritize spamming over creating meaningful content, the value of the entire community declines. It’s a drain on the people who are here to build something real, and it’s not sustainable in the long term.

At the same time, I recognize that we’re navigating this together. If you’re contributing authentically, whether it’s through thoughtful posts, helpful comments, or just showing up and engaging in good faith, you should feel valued here. But to make that happen, we need to set higher standards as a group.

Well, come to think of spamming and value extraction, I think we are really misplacing priority here. If we can critically look at the level of value extraction, we would see that the people labeled as spammers are not actually the ones extracting the most value from the system (degen). It's rather those people you pamper, the ones with high social graph. These are the ones your algorithm allocates  outrageous rewards to. I was shocked to see someone earning as much as 1,000,000 $Degen per month. I so much believe there are more people extracting as much or even more than that. These are the people that have continued to dump $Degen. Now the system is reacting to the exploit, we turn around to victimise those who are even not taking out up 10k $degen per month. 

Those who have come up with this spam label to divert attention from the main issue are the people I consider the main enemy of Degen project.

A social development worker, a crypto enthusiast, a content writer seeking web3 platforms to contribute and grow.
