imo the new camera slider button touchpad thing on the iphone is not very useful nor reliable and i don’t really expect them to keep it around in the future

slider is silly imo, i personally would not consider it a reason to upgrade

at this moment i would not consider the iphone 16 worth upgrading to but that opinion might change later this fall when they actually enable Apple Intelligence — Apple AI stuff will only work on the new phones, but it doesn’t actually exist yet

Most useless shit I ever saw on an iPhone

Apple has a history of experimenting with features, and if user feedback doesn’t back it up, they tend to pivot quickly.

It will probably be phased out

I think the sliders are for photographers who are based on using their new iPhone pro

Actually it is making a difference, we actually needed something different from other series iPhone have been making literally the same thing for the past 3 years 

I’m guessing  you used the 15 model, do you find much difference between it and the newly released 16 you just got?

Honestly I feel the same way. 

It’s giving the same vibe where Apple introduced the “double and triple tap on the back of your iPhone” feature function. 

Shit makes my phone feel like a camcorder lol

I haven’t used it much but I was of the thought this was gonna be super cool to quickly get the camera up and take a picture. I always hit the wrong button…
