lmao no basically no one talks about escaping city life to go up north the dream of going rural is more likely to be a cabin on the lake somewhere as far south in this country as possible to minimize winter

I suspect the Alaskan dream is as much about low government as it is braving the wilderness. In Canada, there’s quite similar levels of govt up north.
