How are people feeling about announcements?

1. When they first launched, a bunch of complaints about them being too spammy. 

2. Another population of people claim they never check the channels tab.

If we were to move announcements into the All / Priority tab (vs. keeping them in Channels), how would you feel?

That would make me unfollow a lot of channels I want to have followed.
how about moving moderator requests/invite to channel to priority tab? people don't check the channel notifications and when I tag them to let them know they have been added as a member/moderator, they can't find the notification.
