The initiative aims to establish a “museum” on the Moon by sending multiple pieces of art over several missions. These works include both physical and digital creations, curated from artists around the world.

One of the highlights of this mission is the “Mare Crisium” collection, which will be placed on the Moon’s surface.

This collection includes 47 artworks by various independent artists and communities, showcasing a diverse range of human expression.

The museum is inspired by Paul van Hoeydonck, who was the first artist to have his work on the Moon back in 1971 with the “Fallen Astronaut” sculpture.
