AF is a subscription platform. I call it Patreon on the blockchain. So you can subscribe to creators you want to support and/or receive benefits from (alpha in the form of information or whatever your favourite creators are providing)… or you can provide content to your subscribers. Or both.

Yeah, I saw the ability to invest in other creators and I really like that idea. I’m trying to limit the amount of socials I have. Right now, as a creator, I’m thinking FC, Foundation, Paragraph and maybe AlphaFrens. You think that covers all the bases? Am I missing something or is there overlap with those?

Tell Me more about what you have to offer. I see actor in bio… All of those make sense, but Foundation? You mint NFTs? If so, of what? Yes, I think that covers everything except maybe YouTube/Instagram if you do video work/art.

Yes, thanks for asking. I started minting what I’m calling “Acting NFTs”, for clarity and lack of a better term right now. The idea behind them is to bring the art of acting onchain, in the same way we’ve seen digital art, music, and writing brought onchain.

It’s a new idea and I’m going to expand on it in a Paragraph but ultimately, My mission is to bring attention to what an actor contributes as an artist, separate from the influence of all the other artists that collaborate in the TV and filmmaking process.

My first collection is titled “Self-Tapes”. Self-Tapes are what actors create when auditioning for a role. I’ve minted them as NFTs so people can, • Support actors who’s work they enjoy. • Collect an actor’s early work. And as the actor’s career grows, so may the value of their work.
