Esoteric health Farcaster rate my setup: Goal: lose 50 pounds Wake up: Decaf macchiato with skim milk ~ 20 cal 1st meal: 'French soup slop' ~ Ground turkey, potatoes, carrots, celery, garlic, onions, chicken broth, red wine, olive oil ~ 600 calories 2nd meal: Small can of salmon, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1 egg, pickles, Ezekiel 4:9 pita ~ 450 cal Snacks throughout the day: grapes, celery, 'shots' of orange juice: ~ 100 cal ~1200 calories a day Been doing this for about 5 weeks, plus working out 5 or 6 days a week, what Vital Nutrients am I missing here.

Cut out the snacks. You body needs time to let the blood sugar reset in between meals. When you keep adding sugar in between (orange juice shots) your blood sugar spikes back up (you don't burn fat when it's up).

You're also eating far too few calories. You have to have at least the bare minimum of calories your body needs to sustain itself (2000 ish). If you're not eating enough calories, your body will pull from muscle to survive (easier to burn than fat). As muscle decreases, harder to burn fat.
