i don't know why you concern yourself so much with that? why can't we be happy that 50% of MAU are DAU right now, and work on making the next day better than the next than the next? this chart i showed just now, that's a win. A win for the entire community. Now let's make the next day better and the next day better.

All the protocol stats and dashboards are misleading. Anyone who has seriously analyzed the data knows that we actually have fewer than 10k real active users. Even the dashboard I put together indicates that we had 238k active users last month. I rarely mention the dashboard these days because I know it's not accurate. I'd love to fix it but there is no way to do so

Don't just accept what you see as the truth. The problem is that we have no way to distinguish "accounts" from "real users." The power badge was an attempt to address this issue, but it has now been abandoned

ok so issue of bots. Maybe recent changes (power badge & maybe disinterest in degen) have discouraged farms? Seems like a good housekeeping correction, before engagement, a better bot-resistor, takes us further. I'm a data nerd and understand it. Plz share anything else I may be missing

I notice quite a few casters that I think have some sort of really admirable skill are being profiled as possessing "bot traits". Reference "Bot or Not". Also, I notice many "human language bots" more often than not express unique perceptions about specific cast and translate to other languages. A valuable service. Regardless, building location based projects by limiting the casters one is following that do not list a location probably reduces bot traffic significantly. So I do think things are looking up but think your concerns are valid and important. There is a pretty hard bias put on smaller groups, maybe not in support & guidance, but in the context of some important bigger channel feeds and the main one.
