i don't know why you concern yourself so much with that? why can't we be happy that 50% of MAU are DAU right now, and work on making the next day better than the next than the next? this chart i showed just now, that's a win. Tbh I think this cast conflates 2 different groups of people I think the people “acknowledging privately” DAUs (like myself) aren’t hiding their opinion, they just don’t cast about DAU metrics at all bc FUD isn’t helpful to an early stage network

Permanently Optimistic™ I should put this on a tshirt and sell it via a frame. The protocol has 641k users who have at least 1 storage unit, yet there are 211k users who have never casted before. How many people talk about that? Stats via farcasterinsights.com

It’a becoming another tool for those already at the top gaining more funds and us at the bottom grabbing table scraps and begging for engagement then getting slapped on the wrist from playing the game. Ala Black Mirror “NOSEDIVE” and “15 MILLION MERITS” oddly they were some of the more positive happy ones. My fave will forever be “HANG THE DJ”

Idk if anyone is afraid to speak out publicly lol I’ve been complaining about bots for months, obviously this signal Jason posted has a lot of noise…but there’s also signal there As we get better at filtering and heuristics the data will improve Very clear to me that numbers wildly inflated. But also that there are real PMF clusters emerging

Don’t you think it’s important for us to find a way to distinguish accounts from real users I’m pretty sure you were even working on a solution yourself to measure qDAU a while back
