We should just shut down all of Broadway street and turn it into a greenway. Broadway runs diagonally through Manhattan, but the surrounding grid of perpendicular streets—both vertical (north-south) and horizontal (east-west)—already provides enough routes for car traffic. cars can easily navigate around Broadway without needing to use it, making it unnecessary for car mobility. Think of the possibilities! We could transform it into a street-level Highline, would serve as flood resilient infrastructure

Have you seen the latest updates towards Union Square? Whole lotta work to have it still just be a road (but still better than before!)
