Today we're launching a cross-app wallet connector so users can access their embedded wallets in apps that don't use Privy.

This is a big step in our work to bring the benefits of onchain interop to everyone 🌏

Been getting questions on how this works. Under the hood, it was important for us to use tried-and-true systems and not reinvent the wheel as we help users access their embedded wallets through RainbowKit, ConnectKit, and many other connector libraries

TLDR - no more having to poll the Privy API to get the latest user data. Roundtrip saved, UX improved!

Privy keeps your JWT clean so you don't have to deal with deprecated claims (#futureProof) but it's still great to get back the full user object!

Another update to Privy embedded wallets:

Easily upgrade from password-based recovery to cloud-based with Drive or iCloud (or vice versa!)

It's all about providing the right wallet experiences for all users—enabling them to upgrade as their needs change and your product evolves.

A hill I'll die on:

nobody would write init_o_auth and a_p_i_endpoint, so miscapitalizing initialisms and midcap words in your javascript variables is wrong (ideal: initOauth, apiEndpoint)

The amount of times I've tried to pay Cloudflare for their good work and they either fail to load the payment screen, or don't allow us to further upgrade our plan, or say the payment was successful and then didn't go through is unreasonable.

wow, 7 months later and I'm _again_ struggling with Cloudflare enablement hell. I love the product, but getting the team on the phone to pay them more money is shockingly hard
