Palestine Skating Game is set in Bethlehem and Gaza before the genocide in 2022. You grind rails, shoot paint at tanks, and tag walls to win. The soundtrack is Arabic electronic music.

This is an incredibly creative and effective use of plot, character-driven narrative, and spatial storytelling to preserve at least some sense of the place that Palestine was before being flattened by the israeli-us genocide. 

Reconstructing these spaces, even virtually, can serve as a form of resistance to erasure

Just prior to 10/7 I was helping my friend Guido raise money for a skatepark in the West Bank. Covid hit them hard. I’m looking for the video now. It feels like a lifetime ago. Last I heard anything was 6 months ago.
