Check this new: - Apple’s iPhone camera - Adobe Photoshop - Xerox PARC’s copy + paste And every other tool ever that seemingly threatened a small set of creators while unlocking entire generations of new ones. Imagine gatekeeping creativity.

Nothing is “gatekeeping” AI from anyone besides time and money. If a non-technical background person perceives AI to be simply pressing buttons, stolen art, or doesn’t align with it… that’s how they view it. Bullying, and shunning criticism is exactly what weak minded and weak willed individuals do. 👍

I don’t understand the point you were making. The image depicts a group of people minding their own business and enjoying what they’re making with AI. Then someone comes along and passes judgement because it’s so easy to make (and built atop stolen art, etc etc). The group of people acknowledge (ignore) them and go back to talking. The individual is the creative gatekeeper, aka art cop. My point is that people will flock to tools if they’re accessible enough, there shouldn’t be shame in that. Same way some photographers might have gotten salty about instagram photography when iPhones become polar.
