Many projects assume that users don’t care about decentralization, which causes them to abandon it and shift towards centralized solutions.

I believe we should take a similar approach to what Apple did with privacy. In Apple’s early days, privacy wasn’t a big concern for most users, and their marketing efforts around it didn’t gain much traction.

However, when users became more tech-savvy and started valuing privacy, Apple’s products were the first choice because they had been building with privacy in mind all along.

I believe decentralization will follow a similar path in the crypto world. When users eventually demand more control over their data and assets, projects that stayed true to decentralization will be the ones people turn to.

It’s not that they don’t think we care, they know they can get away with the same pattern of outsourced labor and they looooove the helper’s high that comes with it.
