When our family travels, we usually end up playing a game I’ll call, “What would it be like to live here?”
It’s different from “Would you want to live here?” Instead of a yes or no question, it creates a few different lenses: extended family, work, church, community, housing, transportation, school, activities, etc.
It invites playing out different scenarios and curiosity about each place e.g., “How would we…?”
It’s been a fun way to dial in our understanding of what we value in the places we visit and how that shapes and is shaped by where we live. 2 replies
