My impression is that you get some interaction for endorsing projects. Posts asking hard questions let alone criticism are ignored. Also, if you’re not some crypto OG, you’ll be ignored. This is not a network of thinkers engaging in free discussion but a set of communities trying to be very efficient in networking.

desperately trying to find out about the juridical basis of the project. If participants have a say in the governance, they also can be held personally liable for the project. Is there a legal entity shielding them?

I have yet another question. The token holders can participate in the governance of moxie. This could mean they can be held personally liable in eventual court cases involving the project. To avoid this some projects shield their participants by formal corporations. Is this also the case here?

So I understand token-holders are entitled to participate in the governance of the Moxie protocol. @moxie.eth is there any legal structure shielding token holders from liability in case of legal challenges? I can imagine scenarios where individual token holders, even those not actively involved in governance, could be held responsible for decisions and governance by the group. For instance, read this about personal liability and DAOs: https://www.paulhastings.com/insights/client-alerts/voter-beware-personal-liability-for-dao-token-holders-for-voting

Why are GDPR and other data regulations lacking in many Web3 projects? https://paragraph.xyz/@mixedrealities/tension-between-web3-and-data-privacy-regulations

Puzzled by the tension between #web3 and data regulations. The excellent project ehtereumfilm is just one example. I wrote about it on paragraph, yet another great web3 service struggling with data regulations. @linda @colin https://paragraph.xyz/@mixedrealities/tension-between-web3-and-data-privacy-regulations

I think it's simply very hard to market farcaster to people outside of the crypto-sphere. There is something like the network-effect, people will stay where there friends or people they follow are, so on the major social networks. Maybe those are centralized and evil, but they do have lots and lots of content, even about web3 and crypto but also about a myriad of other things. So what is the unique selling proposition of something like warpcast, for a general audience? For me personally this is a nice place to learn and to discuss with people interested in decentralized stuff, but that again is very crypto- en blockchain related.

It's not only a matter of feeling uneasy with this feature. It's actually against the GDPR-rules which include 'the right to be forgotten'. Suppose you post some fake and damaging info about another person, it would be hard to actually delete it even if a court would order to do so. That being said, stuff published in print is also very hard or impossible to 'undo'.

Yes, I guess you can beat me. I never played the game in my childhood, being an old guy. But hey, I just scored 2.120 in the Atari Onchain Asteroids game! Can you beat me? www.arcade.fun/?ref=0xBa85979CA3C100c2b446e32696d66F3aac613102

I started using venice, a privacy focused AI founded by @erikvoorhees. No idea how good or bad it is, but interesting and linked to mor org, which works on "decentralized AI". Still exploring, if others want to try it, I have a referral link https://venice.ai/chat?ref=bJbTu0 - which potentially earns me points :)

My very first post on Paragraph became a meditation about Arweave and immutability. Summary: I do love the platform but there are some serious concerns about compliance. My next post will be about other aspects of GDPR than the 'right to be forgotten'. https://paragraph.xyz/@mixedrealities/hello-world
