I’m afraid I’ve become that person who quote casts instead of commenting

I’m actually curious about this:

Is it “worse” for an OP to get quote-casted than replied to?

I love when people quote cast me and think it’s often a more interesting commentary than a reply.

It seems like a better distribution of the OP too(?)

playing /bracket, assisting /bracky, talking /greatbooks

"worse" relative to what? distro via the algo vs. individual exp perhaps?

seems like an "and" thing rather than an "or" thing.

Other people seem to be making it an "or" (hence the big debate)

I do like to use both.
