i'm trying to build an onchain payment solution for offline merchants

tried something new this morning: went for a walk around /lisbon and visited a bunch of cafès for short interviews

turns out i didn't find any owner in place, so ended up getting emails or instagram handles to reach out about my market research

so i decided to change strategy: i'm back home now after lunch and will start to scrape cafès emails with some tools and send a bunch of cold emails

let's see what happens next

Coinbase just launched EURC, a Euro-pegged stablecoin. But how would it benefit my local café beyond just saving on fees? 🤔

Imagine this:

* Easy Onboarding: Coinbase's 0-fee wallet makes adopting EURC simple for both me and my customers. ✅

* Potential On/Off Ramp Ease: If Coinbase's EU integration is smooth, on/off ramps would be a breeze. 🅾️

* Yield Generation: Holding EURC could generate passive income through native APY - music to my ears! 💰

* Affiliate Opportunities: Affiliate deals could incentivize customer Coinbase sign-ups, driving adoption and potential revenue. 🤝

* Increased Discoverability: A global map highlighting EURC-accepting businesses would definitely attract new customers. 🗺️

With these advantages, EURC could be a game-changer!  What do you think?

definitely interesting not only ofr on/off ramp, but also affiliates and discoverability as u mentioned

Yep, i think coinbase is in a great position, if they play this correctly. But so far EURC isn't even fully integrated in their own wallet....😅
