Question: Scoop3 is an onchain podcast player which dispenses an NFT of the podcast when you listen to the episode (and some conditional logic is fulfilled). That’s the quick tldr. :) We built this on the Base network but pivoted to Degen network to keep gas fees low (figure $.01 vs. $.000000001). We were going to pay for them either way, but from a business standpoint removing the gas fees line item was a *huge* savings, hence the change to Degen. We actually have both versions built and the current active build is Degen but we can easily go back to Base. I voted for Base - because even after all this time degen L3 has been around, I don't actually know if Rainbow supports it and I don't remember if I've ever transfered any degen there 🫣 I mean unless it gets abstracted somewhere along the way - I will never be able to join any L3s and remember which ones I did join That said - I actually believe that L3s are a great way to create "one trick ponny" (understand optimized for specific use-case) chains with super cheap transactions and uniquely relevant onboarding
