The sad irony is Harris winning is the only thing that would give him an opportunity recover his reputation. Torching his talent potential and ability to inspire future generations, all to help the most small-minded narcissist grifter in American history.

people are and will be inspired by his achievements, not the party he supports. also can't blame him for not supporting dems after how they went against him and his companies for years. politics is a game, and he's playing it well.

In a different era, if the person he supported didn't transcend beyond politics, I'd agree. But in this case, he's destroyed his own legacy. It's not the party that he supports that tanked him, but the *person* and the *policies* he supports combined with his massive command of attention (which can go both ways).

The scary thing is I think he and all the other billionaires supporting Trump fully understand the gamble they're making: Its more beneficial to be on the good side of authoritarians than deal with the annoyances of democracy.
