What's the best way to gift a newbie crypto? I shouldn’t know their seed phrase nor be the owner of the wallet; they don’t care to manage these funds (yet). Do we not have a service that securely facilitates key transfer/custody?

Good question, I think a multisig wallet can be a good solution. Next teach them how to send the assets to a personal wallet of their own

true! though we're talking people who don't care to have a wallet of their own (yet). more and more, thinking we need to abstract away the wallet for proper 101 onboarding.
