Sometimes I wish the appearance of every city and country reflected its culture and history. I’m not just talking about ancient monuments and museums, but the architectural style of buildings and the beautiful, joyful traditions. Modernity is great, but I believe that culture and authenticity should still be preserved.

Absolutely you are so right here. In Strasbourg I had an epiphany. All the beautiful buildings and a lot of softness as opposed to the Gothical cathedral in the middle. It somehow reminded me of a supernatural beast that is watching over and protecting the softness of the other buildings. They could afford to be aesthetically in that way
