There is always nuance. A truer truth is hard to find. In the case if sun: vitamin d production saturates in about 10 minutes at solar noon in summer IIRC. "Whatever the good parts are" is not a fair way to characterize a very well studied adaptation humans have to sun. Yes, I use sunscreen.

Some confounders you can compensate for yes. But it requires being able to clearly define the confounds and being able to measure their impact. The less "hard" the data gets (ie food frequency questionnaires vs bloor marker measurements), the less likely you can compensate for confounders.

The sources in that website are pretty unconvincing: - CHD: it's only true for processed meats, which is probably a confounder for other stuff that processed meats are consumed with, and the types of people who consume them. - Other effects: food frequency questionnaires with RRs and CIs that are unimpressive

The Wagmi.sh v1 update wasn't nice either. I get it: viem is faster. But why use a non-spec provider? Broke my testing libraries in one fell swoop. Reminds me of Microsoft "extending" css and starting the browser-prefix hell.

I'm feel continuously more attracted to self-hosting things. It's still better price/quality to cloud host for most apps, but damn I look at the pricing for some services and gag a little.

Coworking space, work from semi social space (bouldering halls), cowork with another freelancer. I am against coffeeshops against loneliness, you don't connect there.

Incorrect (luckily). Many supplements are well studied to have effects with a dose/response ratio. Examples: - creatine = power - DHA over 1500mg a day for cognitive enhancement - theanine = anxiety reduction in caffeine sensitive people (yours truly) I guess it depends on your definition of supplement.
