How do you rank the moral importance of these in a life? - What you do - Why you do it - How you do it

I think having the right reasons rank the highest. So Why you do it is at the top. Second is What you do and third is how. For example, In war people kill other people but if it is for a just cause(why) then you do it. It does not matter how you do that as long as you do it(what).

Very interesting example! How about this one: A person is driven by wealth and status (why) but makes a product that helps a lot of people (what) and pleasantly interacts with people in doing so (how) Do you think the why is still more important than the positive impact?

Yes. If you are not doing it righteously then there is no point of doing it. It becomes a selfish act. You are merely using the people to amass wealth for yourself. Wealth and status should not be the goal.
