the linear notification feed isn't super helpful, right? we could do a lot to unflatten it and surface higher-value interactions (imo)

imagine the notifications tab of a social media platform being different

how could it optimize for our interaction with each other?

I don't like this style either. For example, those who follow me, if their bio is shown, it will make them more familiar and it will be more possible for me to follow them.

how to display them to the user. not like a list that goes from top to bottom but more spatially or temporally organized

grouped in groups

with options on them (for example a button to reply later so it goes into a different place) idk
