Thank you! So I picked the blackberries and rinsed them off, then I put them in a pot and added enough water to barely cover them. Then I brought them to a boil, and reduced heat to simmer for about ten minutes while I mashed them all up. After ten minutes I strained out the juice with a coffee filter. I added a small amount(a tsp) of Gum Arabic, (you can also use a bit of honey as a preservative in plave of Gum Arabic),stirred it up and let it cool. Ink made from berries, you will want to store in the fridge as it will begin to ferment if left out in the warmth. For the cards, I put some of the ink in one of my watercolor brush pens, and it worked so well! For the picture below, I used a small brush and dipped it in the ink!
