What’s one outdated practice or belief that you think needs to be challenged or discarded?

I think we need to change the practice of saying “the customer is always right.” This can lead to toxic client relationships and to unreasonable expectations. It’s ok to say NO.

What do you think?

Just because it is obligatory to respect parents does not necessarily mean that all their words are true and they have more experience than us.

This is something I learned closely in treatment. A lot of people have really toxic relationships with their parents and family. For some people, it can be OK to cut off your family and “ make your own family”.

oooh definitely agree with this one. because sometimes parents come from a place of trauma too...
