If you wanted to get really crazy you could do quadratic tipping We've already talked about accumulating allowances over a 2-7 day window, so what if repeat tips to the same account within that time window were also applied quadratically, ie every unit tipped after the first unit eats 2n-1 marginal units of allowance

I am very sorry, but already with the changes degen interest has shifted to other tipping systems. If you do it this way, it will be a system that will harm degen again. This is a very easily avoidable situation in this system. You will only exhaust yourself. Or the more you restrict them to tip the right person, the less people will be interested in degen.

Of course, whatever you say will happen. But I think you should revitalize the ecosystem rather than giving new forms to the tipping mechanism. There will always be people who abuse the system. And I think you are missing much bigger things by focusing only on these.

Can you share what these bigger things are? Would love to work on things the community believes are impactful

Despite all the alternatives to tipping, farming is still simple. The more you try to prevent that, the more you lose sight of everything else. Maybe you are working in the background, but as someone who believes in degen and constantly takes action accordingly, the only thing I see is the tip mechanism. The first system was very open to farming. And that's exactly why we've been able to attract tens of thousands of people here, because there's a simple logic that if they're not going to win, they won't come. The more limitations you impose, the fewer people will benefit from the token. We saw this in the previous season. It only made sense for 1k people and the price plummeted. If you give the Allowance to those who add more value to degen rather than tying it to a single condition, then even having farmers will not affect the future of degen.

This is my own view of degen. And I've watched what happened almost from the beginning, where very large accounts were not prevented from sending tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of degen to each other in previous szn, and the degen grew. So that's not the problem.
