We'll give away $100 every day to players in free Megapot tickets. How should we do it? See next tweet for explainer on each option.

Megapot

Daily $1,000,000 jackpots in a mini  app • Play for $1 or deposit LP to earn • $40M volume • Audited by Cantina, built by ex-@uniswap, featured in @forbes

Giveaway drawing is per ticket, not per wallet. Thus, buying more tickets get you more chances to win.

Here are the options;
• Progressive: 1 winner of 25 tickets, 5 winners of 5 tickets, 50 winners of 1 ticket, all per day
• Incremental: 4 winners of 5 tickets, 15 winners of 2 tickets, 50 winners of 1 ticket, all per day
• Flat: 100 winners of 1 ticket, every day
• Weekly + daily: 1 winner of 100 tickets and 5 winners of 50 per week; 50 winners of 1 tickets per day

Every day after the jackpot drawing, we run a giveaway drawing offchain

This drawing is per ticket, so buying 10 tickets means 10x the chances to win!

Winners are automatically entered into the next jackpot drawing onchain. They can view in our app or others' Megapot apps!

We know giving away free tickets isn't as good as giving USDC on Base

However, most players play from other chains or other apps. It's hard for them to use a different chain or get apps to notify them

Our V2 protocol, coming soon, will offer small cash prizes entirely onchain!

What users want is:

Be able to buy tickets for several days within one parchase and no need to do it daily.

Also have an intuitive way to  see out tickets. Like a Number or sth before lottery starts

wow super good news!! voted for weekly+daily on X now because it would be the biggest bang for the ones who win but i guess that everyone will have a different preference regarding that...no matter how you'll decide i'm super happy this will happen and it surely is a huge incentive for everyone to keep playing daily no matter how/what you'll implement it/in the end ;)
