Finally caught up on Shogun and I gotta admit, although I was sus about how the show would unfold after ep 1 (re: how the Anjin would fit into the narrative)

I’m now obsessed and appreciate the depth and complexity of the storytelling.

Yup! The overwhelming praise the show's received has really been well deserved. There's a lot of layers to the story and it just gets better with each episode, plus all of the cast are killing it.
