Quick question for designers: Are there products you love the design of but don’t actually use?

/product-design | startup advisor | casting in /meesh | prev. @ reddit, okta (personal), lilblockparty.wtf, common.xyz, etc.

For me it’s Arc, I think it’s so stunningly designed and gives me all the best tools for browsing. But I guess at the end of the day, it still comes back to “The best design is invisible.”

Same, same. Dev tools are too familiar on Chrome

Arc is definitely a product I try to use due to its innovation yet I go back to chrome for ease of use and dev tools.

This is making me think even more deeply about the UVP(s) for "onchain browsers" 👀

I've been using primarily arc but moved to chrome since it seems more straightforward when using wallets and stuff

So my onchain browsing is on chrome and the rest is arc and tbh arc doesn't get opened that often anymore lol

i swear to god... every time i try to use arc, it causes my elderly mac (2018) to freeze constantly

At the end of the day you don't use the products that are stunning, most functional etc. but whatever serves your needs and solves problems you have

Mobile arc search can be like that to me, great app but I don't want to pick up my phone whenever I have something specific to search for, even if it's the best ever designed app
