What areas of web3 are you most excited about right now?

For me: 
1. interoperable identity (social & commercial/financial)

2. decentralized telecommunications

3. gig economy facilitation

4. InvestmentDAOs

All with a heavy culture/arts orientation as social glue.

Interesting. Do you think people will have one digital identity (ie, financial, social, commercial, etc), or distinctive like today but hopefully more interoperable ?

I think social is the easiest and most important to solve for first (because let's face it, most of us still keep our money in regular banks).

Seems like disco.xyz is tackling this problem—one place for all your web2 and web3 social identities, where you can safely operate and have full visibility into who you are and how you show up online (and know who has bits and pieces of your personal data and remove them).

Until web3 is safe and secure enough, I'd leave verifiable credentials and IDs out of it.
