story time in 2019 i qualified for the world athletics championships in Doha via world rankings but i didn't get selected by my federation because they believed i wouldn't medal or make the final there i was 21 years old and i was devastated as i had trained so hard however earlier that year i got talking to a random guy that i was sat next to in my lecture at uni he asked me what my dream job would be if i wasn't an athlete and i said ' tv presenter' a few months later he got a summer internship at the BBC and every day he pitched about me to them the exec at bbc listened, liked my content on instagram and then gave me a call i ended up going to that world championships as a fully accredited bbc presenter it was so much fun!!!! moral of the story sometimes things don't work out the way you want them too.. but they can still work out! oh and speak up about your dreams, you never know who is listening! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUM7Ru3Qnhs

Such an inspiring story! It goes to show that sometimes setbacks can lead to unexpected opportunities. It's amazing how sharing your dreams with others can open doors you never imagined. Congratulations on seizing the chance to become a BBC presenter and turning disappointment into success! Keep shining bright and inspiring others to never give up on their dreams.
