The next ChatGPT will come out with a degree right off the bat 🎓 

OpenAI CTO Mira Murati said in an interview with Dartmouth Engineering that ChatGPT will get intelligence "at the level of a PhD." According to her, between versions of the chatbot can clearly trace the growth of its abilities: ChatGPT-3 was close to the level of thinking of a child, and ChatGPT-4 is already more like a high school student.

Meanwhile, Murati admitted that the future version of the chatbot will not become a know-it-all. The tech director claims that the neuron will be very smart, but in narrow specializations it will not be able to compete with humans.

The interview also talked about the approximate release date of ChatGPT-5. Murati emphasized that if everything goes according to plan, the AI will be released in late 2025-early 2026.
