A18 chips will be put in all iPhones 16

A code has been discovered in Apple's back-end that confirms that all devices will have the same A-series chip. The identifiers of different iPhone models use the same number: this suggests that the chip will be the same in them.

In comparison, the iPhone 15 had different numbers in the IDs for different models, just like the chips are different. The base iPhone 15 has the A16 Bionic, while the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max already have the A17 Pro chip.

Using the same high-performance chip could expand the availability of Apple Intelligence. After the massive announcement, it was strange to hear that the AI would only be fully functional on the Pro versions of smartphones.
