Leaked: Apple is working on a new home device Apple is working on yet another home device, but what that device is is still unknown. Parsing the code from the backend (the day before it became known about the alleged chips in the new iPhones), enthusiasts found a brand new identifier - HomeAccessory17,1. This is not HomePod, as that one has a different identifier - AudioAccessory. Judging by the ID labelling, the home device will use the latest A18 chip, the same one used in future iPhones. Probably, it will be some kind of gadget with artificial intelligence support. In addition to this, the code found references to a new Apple TV. According to rumours, the launch of the updated version is just scheduled for this year
