Working on an essay on different progress cycles in tech/products that need people to participate (web3, social media, marketplaces, etc...) in order to work vs. those that don't (AI, biotech, etc...). 

Has anyone read anything good on this / have any thoughts?

Sidenote: another thing I feel comfortable doing on FC that I don't feel comfortable doing on Twitter, asking for input to an essay before I write it.

I shudder to think what would happen if you tried this on twitter. but could be fun to watch?
