something to do with funding, pride & software 

infrastructure is easiest, but it’s worthless if no one uses it & its arguably saturated so builders move on to the next big broad blanket

yet everyone lunches a chain & token before the game & integrates financial systems before game systems 

hardware is next in line as you can create a storefront & ecosystem which is seemingly a decent use case for a token, then do things like community/social & identity, etc. 

we now have advanced hardware wallets, phones, entire consoles… but nothing to do on them; there’s no need for a crypto-native device when an everyday device already works just fine for its current applications

no one wants to build risky consumer apps for consumers that don’t really exist yet everyone wants to raise a bunch of money & build… something… so we end up here

ie. no new entrants, no new hooks, just a bunch of ~things~ that less than a few thousand dedicated people will ever tinker or play with
