I’ve never read a business book in my life that was worth reading. I’m not speaking extemporaneously either I literally have an MBA during which I had to read dozens of them. Most of them just seem to be marketing devices for the author. I mainly read history for entertainment.

Business books, HBR and McKinsey Quarterly are marketing brochures for sure. The best business book I've read recently is Read Write Own

Sounds hackneyed but most I learned about business was working in my dad’s convenience store growing up. It’s more like a practical hands on thing. Some tips do help tbh

there's gotta be a few out there for folks who know nothing about business, didn't get an MBA, who want to get some basics.

Reading history is great, it's like living the past and using its experience in the present.
