hi i have a question. if something is triggering you again and again and again, like it’s the same situation repeatedly and you find yourself reacting badly to it even though you don’t want to, are you supposed to remove the trigger from your life or keep trying to find ways to get over it? yes, i realize this is really vague, but maybe it will resonate with someone who has an answer

If it’s personal relationship that’s very valuable to me I’ll try to understand why this thing triggers me and how to change my reaction. Maybe by talking about this situation with someone who causes it, if possible If it’s something that can be removed from my life relatively easily - and it won’t affect my life , I’d remove it, but usually it’s not possible. So I just focus my attention elsewhere so that the trigger will become smaller and disappear eventually
