Are any serious Web3 folks trading NFTs? Yesterday I went down the OpenSea rabbit hole and changed my mind on NFTs.

Used to think it was 90% BS but I see the appeal of buying digital art. 

Am I getting sucked into a scam or something real there?

There are collectibles, think pokemon cards or the like, and then there is art. Both are valid.

NFTs have enabled the distribution, sale & appreciation of digital art like nothing before. Generative art (ie Meridian, Fidenzas..) is natively digital, photography too, among other. 

Intention with art is important.
