some of the ways you can pull casts from our API today: 1. recommend casts to a specific user 2. rerank casts for a specific user 3. create a feed of trending or popular casts 4. do semantic search on all casts 5. assign labels to casts/text and rank by casts by label score

Feeds on new web3 apps can feel a little stagnant, creating the impression that there's "not much to see" and leading to user churn There are two features we've built internally that help solve this: 1. feed freshness - ensures users see casts they haven’t viewed or interacted with before 2. impression count - lets you define how many items returned by the API are marked as “seen” for the current user. so for example the top 5 items in the feed will not be returned no matter if user has interacted with them or not

We're launching 0xRec, an AI accelerator program powered by our team of machine learning personalization talents at @mbd. This is part of a broader push for client diversity. The idea is to help small innovative teams get really good at providing the very best onchain content to their users. Co-led by @masknetwork, @polymorphicvc w/ participation from @a16zcrypto /CSX, @socialgraphvc, Forward Research and WAGMI. Creating engaging clients—whether trading-focused, art & NFT-focused, or even AI agents—requires more than open access to raw data. To sustainably engage users, applications must deliver personalized, spam-free quality content to their users. Since early 2023 at @mbd, we’ve been building advanced machine-learning recommendation systems pre-trained on Farcaster data and designed to deliver dynamic, relevant content and actions tailored to each user. All are accessible through a dead simple API.

I might be wrong on this but still believes we are reading too much into the efficiency hypothesis of prediction markets because as an industry we need a win 🤷🏻‍♂️ It is great entertainment and a faster medium to gather information when “experts” (ehm’inside traders) are involved but in general zero knowledge agents do explain most of the price action as in the paper linked… And in cases where election can be cheated but hard to prove, oracles are in trouble and resolution is a centralized mess.
