NGL I am so turned off by anyone entering web3 in 2025 saying they’re gonna be “the first… [insert thingy here] onchain” No, you’re not. 🙄 Like oh you’re going to ignore the existence of the people already here building for years before all this easy drag and drop shit? No, you’re not going to be the first ‘rockstar on the blockchain’ there’s already some of us here; but you can still be amazing. My advice to ppl coming in new: Don’t moonwalk into web3 all green, but with blinders on, gassing yourself and everyone up about yourself being the first to do something onchain. You’re brand new, you don’t know what’s already been going on here, so that statement is super tone deaf (and as I said, a REAL turn-off)—so quit your cappin’ stop, look, and listen, move around and pay attention. Being first isn’t the flex. Fully being you, that’s the flex.

And shout up to DJ Frank White in SXSW (performance in the attached video clip) I had the great pleasure to see/hear him spin 2-3 times; he’s a legend! He had us all singing and dancing on the dance floor floor all night. I went home sober because I couldn’t stop dancing long enough to drink anything. The brother goes hard.

🎥 In this video, I’m placing a Pepavaggio sticker on the booth ALONGSIDE THE LEGENDS THAT PRECEDED MYSELF and that’s life. My sticker wasn’t the first but it still is haute AF, and some may say it’s the best, but for me—my presence here and sharing my essence is the win for the world. Even in an Olympic race: the ultimate goal isn’t only to be first; ON A PERSONAL LEVEL the win is also TO RACE AGAIN. The win is to consistently be in excellence ready to race at the highest level. You get me. Live first for yourself. When people claim false accolades , it comes off like needing to feel special about something that doesn’t matter much, and those of us who are self-aware can see that. It’s the opposite of confidence and the self-love that anyone is worthy of.
