i hope the last part pans out. cursor is great but forking and closing a major oss project sucks. *especially* because it breaks things regularly. (dev on linux fails randomly even on core things sometimes e.g in-ide terminal execution). but for ai uix yea its still better :(

Zed just feels so fast, while Cursor inherited that kind of “bring the good ol’ Big Bertha” going along vscodiums - entirely subjective tho Other bad: Git(hub) integration is still a bit light, no webserver/preview other than markdown (and will never be iiuc)
