We should revisit ICOs and SAFTs with a more responsible and standardized framework. Standard terms and documents are what made VC in Silicon Valley work so well. Look at any other tech ecosystem with potential and no velocity, and I bet they have term sheets with poor alignment of interest and unbalanced rights

A time and place for a token, but ICOs were mainly companies looking to raise non-dilutive capital and tried to figure out a way to incorporate a token.

True, but with the proper DD those can be called out. What would be left is a detailed way of allowing people to invest with reasonable and balanced terms. There was too much insider dealing the first time. 90% for investing two months before someone gets a 50% is nonsense. The business wasn’t derailed that much

I hear you and definitely agree. At the same time, nothing wrong with raising equity. Just forcing a token so you can do it without giving equity is wrong on so many levels.
