when you do a behavior, maybe that’s the selection criteria for that behaviours reproduction in your life.

when you do something, you give that behaviour the right to replicate in your life in the future.

if you have a tendency to distract yourself by swiping on social media, think of it like the behaviours desire to reproduce that you’re allowing to happen.

with that angle in mind, you may find it motivating to actually stop letting behaviours reproduce and to start letting more healthy ones take root.
