Tried to set up my first Story node. I‘m a bit unhappy about all the error messages because of unreachable peer nodes. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Catching up to the latest block is taking ages. Let‘s see where this goes.

Working on my node configuration yesterday. It‘s crucial to think about secutity when you are running blockchain nodes. Otherwise it might end in a desaster where you lose all of your private keys on the machine. Here are some steps you can take to improve your node security: - Run ssh on a different port than the standard port - Use a sudo user instead of root to run your commands - Disable root logins and just allow loging in with the sudo user - Keep your system updated regularly - Consider using tools like fail2ban to block malicious IP addresses - Enable the system firewall and just allow ssh port and whatever is necessary - Run an anti-malware software on your system such as ClamAV Stay safe.

Just finished my first autoswap bot written in Python which is capable of swapping Solana token in a random manner for a user-specified amount of times. I will upload the code soon. Follow for updates.

My Python script for automated swaps on Jupiter is nearly ready. It‘s doing swaps between different Solana Token pairs for some iterations. With AI I was a bit faster with coding, but the template came from a coder on the internet. Later I just used AI to finetune the code.

Quick Node Status Update: Was able to set up my Quillibrium node yesterday after trial & error for 6 hours. Nillion node was running fine, but team changed something that it did not work anymore. They‘ll have to work on their communication skills.

Tried to set up the Story Foundation clients yesterday and found out that a bad documentation is the worst thing ever for a node operator. They should take Nillion as theor role model. Clear documentation for their node setup with easy-to-use scripts. Imagine, within 2 days there just have been 100 Story clients been set up, but more than 3500 Nillion nodes. What a huge difference. Conclusion: your project can do the coolest stuff, but if nobody can secure your network, they‘ll give a damn about it if they care about security.

@Blastoshi_ released a new version of $HYPERS (Hypersound) on Blast after the old version faced issues witht he Blast Mempool. Version 2 is out and tokens from V1 have already been migrated. There is a simple script for running a Hypersound node. I will post it here once it‘s live. I analyzed so many new airdrop opportunities today. Some of them might have amazing potebtial in the future, some others are just copycats. Had never thought that the $DOGS airdrop would be so huge. Many participants collected $500, $900 or even more. Nice to see that there are still airdrops out there where it‘s worth it to participate.
