Serious question though: Has there been someone's view you followed and respected, but at one point they veered so far off what initially drew you to them that they lost your interest and respect?

I didn't even know Mitch Bryant, I had to look him up first. 😬

Yes, that has happened to me several times, I think that the better you get to know a person and their theories/philosophies/ideas, the clearer it becomes what principles they live their life by and whether you can and want to identify with them. 

But I also have to say that I don't really identify that strongly with people, I find some ideas interesting, but I wouldn't describe myself as a follower. I actually find it strange when some people identify so strongly with a person, such as the Jordan Petersen Bros or the Brian Johnson Guys, etc.
